Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how Cole Aesthetics Academy works, what you are buying when you enrol on a course, and what we each agree to. Please read them before you purchase.

01

Who we are

Cole Aesthetics Academy is an online education platform providing continuing professional development for people already working in, or already qualified in, medical aesthetics. The platform is operated by Steven Cole, a Level 7 Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner and Business Development Coach, and is based in the United Kingdom.
Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “the Academy” mean Cole Aesthetics Academy. “You” means the person creating an account or purchasing a course. Our website is coleaestheticsacademy.com.
You can reach us at any time at [email protected].
02

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a course or using any part of this website, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the policies referred to in them, including our Course Eligibility Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Digital Content and Cancellation Policy.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not purchase or use our courses.
We may update these terms from time to time — for example, if we change how our courses are delivered or if the law changes. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.
03

Who our courses are for

Our courses are written for practitioners who already hold relevant qualifications and practical experience in medical aesthetics. They are designed to extend existing knowledge — not to teach someone to inject, treat or practise from a standing start.
By enrolling, you confirm that:

Important — beginners and insurance

Our courses are theory-based online learning. They are not a substitute for hands-on, supervised, accredited clinical training. We cannot guarantee that any insurer, employer, regulator or pharmacy will accept a certificate from one of our courses as evidence of competence to treat, and this is entirely outside our control.

If you enrol without prior aesthetics training, you do so at your own risk, and any decision to obtain insurance or to perform treatments on the basis of that learning is entirely your own responsibility. We strongly recommend you check with your insurance provider before purchasing.
04

What you receive when you enrol

Each course is delivered entirely online through our learning platform. On purchase you receive access to the course materials for that course, which may include video lessons, written modules, downloadable resources and reference material.
Every course includes a written question-and-answer assessment. You must complete and submit the assessment before your certificate can be issued.
05

Assessment, certification and CPD

After you have worked through a course, you submit your answers to the course assessment. Once your submission has been reviewed and accepted, we issue your certificate digitally to the email address on your account. Certificates are issued electronically only — we do not post printed certificates.
Successful completion carries Open CPD credits. CPD credits recognise time spent on structured learning. They are not a licence, a regulatory approval, or a qualification to perform any clinical procedure, and they do not replace any requirement set by your regulator, insurer or employer.
If your assessment answers do not demonstrate that you have engaged with the material, we may ask you to review the relevant module and resubmit. There is no additional charge for resubmission.
06

Your account

You will need an account to access your courses. Keep your login details confidential — you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Accounts and course access are personal to you. You may not share your login, resell your access, or allow another person to complete your assessment. Doing so may result in access being withdrawn and any certificate issued being revoked, without refund.
Please tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.
07

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the point of purchase through our payment providers; we do not store your card details.
We may change course prices at any time, but a price change will never affect an order you have already placed. If a course is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
08

Access to your course

We aim to give you access for as long as the course remains available on our platform. Courses are updated periodically, and content may be revised, replaced or retired as clinical guidance and best practice change.
If we need to retire a course you have purchased, we will give you reasonable notice by email so you can download any materials made available for download and complete your assessment.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, updates or events outside our control.
09

Refunds and cancellation

Please read before purchasing

Our courses are digital content that becomes available to you immediately after purchase. By completing your order and accessing the course, you ask us to begin supplying that digital content straight away, and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Once course access has been granted, we do not offer refunds, part-refunds, credits or transfers — including where a course has not been started, where an assessment has not been submitted, or where a certificate has not been claimed. Please make sure a course is right for you before you buy it.

Nothing in this section removes your legal rights where course content is faulty, not as described, or not supplied at all. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
10

Educational purpose and clinical responsibility

Our course material is educational. It is general in nature, is not tailored to any individual patient, and is not medical, clinical, legal or financial advice.
You remain wholly responsible for your own clinical practice — including patient assessment, consent, treatment selection, technique, product choice, complication management, record keeping, insurance and compliance with the rules of any regulator or professional body you belong to.
Always follow current manufacturer instructions, national guidance and the requirements of your insurer and regulator. Where these conflict with anything in our material, follow them, not us.
11

Intellectual property

All course content — videos, written modules, slides, workbooks, assessments, graphics, branding and the name Cole Aesthetics Academy — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright.
You may use the materials for your own personal professional development. You may not copy, record, screenshot, download (except where we expressly provide a download), republish, share, sell or teach from our content, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
Full details are set out in our Intellectual Property and Sharing Policy.
12

Acceptable use

When using the platform, please do not:
13

Our liability to you

We take real care over the accuracy and quality of our material. Even so, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our courses.
In particular, we are not liable for the outcome of any treatment you carry out, for any decision made by an insurer, regulator, employer or supplier in relation to your training, or for any loss arising because a course was not suitable for your level of experience.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are buying as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
14

Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or withdraw your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms — for example by sharing or reselling course content, or by having someone else complete your assessment. Where we do so because of your breach, no refund is due.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund of any course already purchased.
15

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, we would rather hear about it and put it right. Email us at [email protected] with your name, the course concerned and what has happened.
Our full process, including how long each stage takes, is set out in our Complaints Procedure.
16

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in your own local courts.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply.
17

How to contact us

For anything relating to these terms, your account, your assessment or your certificate, email [email protected] or use the contact form on our website. We aim to reply within five working days.
