Accessibility Statement

We want every practitioner to be able to use this website and complete our courses. This statement explains what we do to keep the platform accessible, where we know it falls short, and how to get help if you need it.

01

Our commitment

Cole Aesthetics Academy is an online learning platform, and online learning is only useful if people can actually reach it. We are committed to making our website and course content usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our working standard. We are not claiming full conformance — we are working towards it, and this statement is an honest account of where we are.
02

What we do to keep the site accessible

When we build pages and course material, we aim to:
03

Adjusting your own settings

You can often improve your experience using tools already built into your device or browser:
AbilityNet publishes free step-by-step guides for adjusting your device to make it easier to use, at abilitynet.org.uk.
04

Known limitations

We are a small, independent operation and we would rather be honest than overstate what we have achieved. We are aware that parts of the platform may not yet be fully accessible:
We are working through these. If you hit one of them, please tell us — it helps us prioritise, and we will provide the content another way in the meantime.
05

Third-party services

Some parts of your experience are provided by other organisations — for example payment pages, embedded video players, forms hosted elsewhere and social media content.
We choose providers carefully, but we do not control how accessible their services are. If a third-party element is preventing you from completing a purchase or a course, contact us and we will find another way to get you what you need.
06

Reasonable adjustments

Tell us what you need and we will help

If a disability, health condition or learning difference makes any part of a course difficult, we will do what we reasonably can to accommodate you. That may include supplying course material in an alternative format, providing a transcript, extending time, accepting your assessment answers in a different format such as audio, or talking a question through with you directly.

You do not need to give us a diagnosis or medical evidence to ask. Email [email protected] and tell us what would help.
07

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you find something on this website that you cannot access or use, please tell us. Email [email protected] and include, where you can:
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to tell you what we intend to do about it. Where a fix will take time, we will offer an alternative way to access the content in the meantime.
08

How this statement was prepared

This statement reflects our own review of the website and course platform, based on the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. It has not been independently audited.
We review it when we make significant changes to the website or add new course material. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
09

If you are not satisfied

If you have raised an accessibility problem with us and are not happy with our response, please use our Complaints Procedure. We take these seriously and would rather resolve it directly.
In the United Kingdom, the Equality Advisory and Support Service provides free advice on disability discrimination and can be found at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
